Lympha Press Plus is a compression pump which can be programmed with up to 5 different cycles. This makes it possible to compile an individual program for each user. Programming is carried out either manually or through a computer - learn manual programming of the e-learning course here (code lpplus). The pressure can be adjusted between 20 and 130 mm Hg. Programs can be locked so that the pump is easy to use for home treatment.
The purpose of this cycle is to drain centrally - near the body first. This creates the space for the lymphatic liquid when other cycles are pressing it towards the body.
The air chambers are numbered from 1-12, where no 1 is located furthest away from the hearth, i.e. toes or fingertips, and no 12 is closest to the hearth. The sleeves are always filled with air in the direction toward the body.
In the Pre-therapy cycle the air chambers fills in the following order: First no 10,11,12, then 9, 10, 11, 12, ... until sleeve filled completely, 1, 2, 3 ... 12 Duration: 7-15 min. Pressure range: 20-40 mmHg.
Indications: Pre-therapy is recommended as initial cycle for users with Lymphoedema.
Lympha cycle
The Lympha cycle creates an overpressure in the sleeve starting furthest from the heart. Air is filled in sequence upward the arm or leg in central direction (1, 2, 3...12). The excess pressure is maintained in the air-filled chambers until all sleeve is inflated. There will be a short pause before a new "excess pressure wave" is started. One compression cycle takes approx. 30 seconds. Pressure: 20-130 mmHg.
Indications: Primary and secondary lymphodema, lipoedema, venous edema, varicose veins, ulcers, sports injuries etc.
Gradient 12 cycle
The Gradient 12 cycle is similar to the Lympha cycle, but the pressure in each air pocket can be set individually – though always with the highest pressure furthest away from the hearth. The minimum graduation of the pressure is 1 mmHg. One compression cycle takes approx. 30 seconds. Pressure: 31-130 mmHg.
Indications: lymphodema, lipoedema, venous oedema, varicose veins, ulcers, sports injuries etc. This cycle is particular effective in situations where there is needed high pressure distal (furthest away from the hearth), and where the high pressure is not needed or tolerated central.
Wave cycle
The Wave cycle provides a peristaltic pressure starting peripherally moving in central direction (1, 2, 3 …12). When an air chamber is filled, the pressure is eased in the last air pocket. The pressure feels as a wave. One compression cycle takes approx. 30 seconds. Pressure: 20-130 mmHg.
Indications: venous disorders, mild non-chronic oedema, postoperative oedema, post-traumatic oedema, geriatric oedema, ulcers, lymphoedema in the upper body etc.
Ballancer cycle
Similar Wave, but based on speed - 20 seconds per compression cycle. Air chamber number 1, 2, 3…12 are filled. Then number 1 is emptied, while number 4 is filled, etc. This gives the feeling of a broader compression wave. Pressure: 20-80 mmHg.
Indications: Improve blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, etc.
